Mechanical Factory Machine Operation Certification Training General Regulations

I. Title: Machine Operation Practical Training; Number of Participants: 20

II. Purpose: to educate students regarding proper machine operation in order to equip with necessary skills for actual operation. Students who pass the training program examination will be issued a certificate, granting the student permission for future operation of factory facilities.

III. Eligibility: students of the department and other departments who applied.

IV. Venue: Training Factory, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

V. Time Period: 6 hours3 hours per day, over a 2 day-period, 9:10~12:00 A.M.

VI. Courses Offered:

1) Lathe

Day 1  9:10-12:00

3 hrs

2) MillingMachines

Day 2  9:10-12:00

3 hrs

VII. Facilities: available facilities

VIII. Materials: provided by the training factory

IX. Application Procedures: professor handpicks graduate students and university students on elective credits. If the number of students exceeds quota, one to two students will be selected from each professor’s roster.
